We are a small team of leadership and career coaches, consultants, advisors, and mentors looking for guest posts that align with or complement our brand. Here’s a bit about you and the content we’d like to see:
You have hands-on experience and can write on topics through the lens of a:
Leadership or executive coach
Career coach
Corporate leader (aspiring, emerging, or seasoned)
Business with a coaching culture
Your content is educational and engaging.
Please do not submit promotional content that is product/service-focused.
Talk about real-world experiences, situations, and stories.
We love posts supported by research.
Your content meets the following minimum requirements.
Posts should be at least 1,000 words. It can be more, but not less.
All content must be original. We do not accept duplicate or syndicated content.
Break up your content so it’s easy to digest. Make use of subheadings and bullets. Feel free to use visual elements!
Write in a natural, conversational tone. Our blog is informative but friendly. Think approachable expert. We want to share content that is authoritative and human.
Always name your sources, especially when quoting statistics and research.
You can include up to 2 (two) backlinks per post to your site, not including the links in your bio.
Include actionable takeaways and recap highlights at the end of the post.
You're good with our process.
First, reach out. Let’s collaborate and agree on a topic. We do our best to respond to requests within 1 (one) week.
Once we agree on a topic, you’ll send us an outline within 1 (one) week and provide a deadline for when you expect to submit the article for review.
You’ll send your draft as a Google Doc using the following sharing settings: On - Anyone with the link; Access - Can edit.
We’ll make edits to the doc; if you’d like, keep an original version separate from the draft you’ll share with us.
Include a short bio (a few sentences), your LinkedIn profile, and your website.
We’ll confirm when the post will go live. Feel free to promote your post, and we’ll do the same!
CareerlyLAB reserves complete editorial control and may edit or tweak submissions as we see fit. These tweaks may include SEO optimization, formatting, removing self-promotional content, replacing stock images, and more.
